As the company grew and scaled up, it became clear that maintaining their quality and flexibility required a digital foundation that could keep up with the complexity of their operations.
That's why Hak4t made a strategic choice early on: they developed their own software, Mien, to manage work between departments. This decision gave them a competitive advantage: full control over their work processes and the ability to seamlessly align the system with their unique processes and values.
With further growth and increasing complexity, the time had come to develop the platform again. Not only to modernize the technology, but also to expand functionality and be ready for the future. In collaboration with Flawless Workflow, Mien was redesigned: with new functionalities, more flexibility and scalability to support Hak4t's next growth phase.
The challenge

Hak4t operates in a demanding production environment with a high mix of projects, where each project is unique and requires flawless coordination between sales, engineering, work preparation, installation and service. Instead of relying on the usual, fragmented tools that often occur in the manufacturing industry, Hak4t recognized early on that they had to take control of their processes themselves to ensure quality, flexibility and scalability.
That's why they made a bold and progressive choice: developing their own Mien software to centralize project information and coordinate work between departments. Mien was specifically designed to address the challenges that many manufacturing companies struggle with:

Hak4t worked with Flawless Workflow to develop Mien: a platform specially designed for production companies like theirs. Mien centralizes information and structures work processes in all phases of the production process, fully tailored to Hak4t's unique way of working.

Thanks to Mien's flexible architecture, Hak4t was able to digitally model how their teams already work, across departments and processes. This made adoption easier, without forced process changes, and ensured standardization across departments.
Personal desktops
Each employee only sees what is relevant to his or her role: tasks, meetings and project information, clearly sorted by department and phase.
Project cards
Each project gets a digital map that moves through the process: from sales to engineering, work preparation, installation and service. All information, forms, tasks and links are added to this map by phase.
Planning Board with Real-Time Insight
The interactive planning board provides immediate insight into all project statuses, responsibilities and bottlenecks. Teams can track progress, redistribute tasks, and update schedules without endless meetings or email exchanges.
